Craig is a Project Engineer at Varius and a registered professional engineer in the State of Washington. For the past 5 years, Craig has focused on the analysis, design, and performance testing of public water, wastewater, and stormwater systems throughout the Pacific Northwest. Craig is passionate about the advancement of the industry through design innovation, strategic planning and management, and the continuing education of water professionals.

Varius Inc. is a unique consulting engineering company designed to provide high-level engineering services using lean and sustainable business practices. Varius is staffed with industry experts, leaders and innovators who are unburdened by large corporation overheads and administrative duties.
2017 – 2019, Project Engineer, Cascade Energy
As a project engineer at Cascade Energy, Craig worked on energy efficiency initiatives for municipal clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. Craig conducted dozens of system-wide energy audits for water systems and wastewater treatment facilities to identify energy saving opportunities to reduce operational costs. He was also involved in the development of energy management plans, 3rd party reviews of facility upgrades, and strategic energy management programs to help his clients meet their energy efficiency goals.
2016 – 2017, Design Engineer, Sitewise Design
While at Sitewise, Craig worked on a variety of low impact development and green infrastructure projects for parks, schools, and residential developments around the Puget Sound. He worked as part of a multi-disciplinary team of architects, engineers, and contractors to implement environmentally friendly and cost-effective engineering solutions to complex design challenges.
2014 – 2016, Staff Engineer, RH2 Engineering
As a staff engineer at RH2, Craig was involved in the planning and design of water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure for municipal clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. Working closely with Dan Ervin and Rick Harbert, Craig helped to advance pump testing, vibration analysis, and hydraulic modeling capabilities to new levels of accuracy and performance. As a key member of the utility assessment team, Craig oversaw the testing and evaluation of hundreds of pumps, valves, and hydrants to improve the accuracy of hydraulic models and develop strategies to improve system performance.
